Google Review: Matt is the best drum teacher in town and an incredibly talented drummer! After working with my 8 year old son for 5 months, my kid was proudly playing a song for recital with confidence! He is very patient as my son loses attention and encourages him to persevere, celebrating each little milestone. I was so impressed that I signed up for lessons too! Matt works really well with helping me get through mental blocks when I can’t seem to get a beat. He demonstrates and teaches techniques really clearly and I’m impressed with how quickly my son and I are both progressing. I’m starting to play songs now after a couple months and having so much fun! I’m so grateful we are learning under Matt!

I took lessons from Matthew throughout my high school years in Moscow. He is a very skilled drummer, and was such a pleasure to work with. In high school, I won the title of Distinguished Young Woman. This program featured a talent portion, which I won by playing a drum solo Matt and I co-wrote. I went on to the state competition, where I won the state talent award as well. I now have a career as a Worship Leader, where I also train musicians for a living. None of this would be possible without Matthew's investment in me! He will help you reach your drumming goals!

Mr. Matt Grubbs is a highly qualified drum instructor and an extremely talented drummer. He works with students of all ages and abilities, meeting them where they are at and working diligently to help them progress their skills. My son has been taking lessons from Matt for over two years now, and through it all, Matt has been encouraging, patient, and supportive of my son. My son's skills continue to noticeably improve thanks to Matt's focus on fundamentals, note reading, and skill mastery before progressing his students to the next level. Matt has his students perform in recitals, which have been a great opportunity for my son to play in front of an audience and also see what he has to look forward to, skill-wise, by continuing his lessons.
