★ 5 · KarterI've been studying with Joel for over a year now. In that time, I watched myself progress. Joel has an amazing ability to connect with you, and he will walk you through each step. He provides the reassurance that new singers need. He will go at the pace you need while also encouraging you to progress. He helped me with breaking a bad singing habit that I didn't quite believe I could. I've learned more about my voice and even the anatomy. His understanding of the skill is one that is valuable when learning. I have also had the pleasure of working with him both in person and online. ★ 5 · Alexa KemmannI studied voice with Joel Trisel for 6 months prior to auditioning as a voice primary at music schools. These lessons equipped me for my audition and beyond as I went on to receive my bachelor of arts in music therapy and to become a board-certified music therapist. Today, I teach voice lessons, and still reference things that Joel taught me as a student. I regularly refer students to Joel as well. He is very knowledgeable and used to be in the Toledo Opera, in addition to working as a choir director currently at Celina High School.
