My daughter has really enjoyed her experience with Ms. Kathy at the Akron Music Institute. She will be performing in her first recital this week. She was self taught for several months and has truly developed technically with the instruction she has received here. She will break and begin again in the new year, and she cannot wait! The staff is extremely professional, kind/supportive and inviting. Most importantly they run on schedule & the atmosphere is undeniably soothing. I would recommend Akron Music Institute for learners of all ages and talent ranges. Thank you AMI!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We absolutely love AMI (Akron Music Institute)! We gladly travel weekly because we know we’re getting the best of the best. Our daughter is enrolled in vocal instruction with Desiree, and we’ve been working with her since June 2025. The growth we’ve seen in such a short time has been truly incredible — in her confidence, her technique, and her love for music. 🎤✨ She had her very first recital this past weekend, and it was nothing short of amazing. It was so professionally organized, beautifully run, and full of talent from all ages. You can tell how much care, effort, and passion goes into everything they do. My daughter felt like a star ⭐️ A huge thank you to Alexandre Marr for creating such a wonderful, uplifting space for music education and development.

We’ve had a wonderful experience at Akron Music Institute. My beginner student studies piano with instructor Lindsay, and in just about three months, he has developed such a genuine love for music and has made impressive progress. Lindsay is patient, encouraging, and truly gifted at working with young learners. We couldn’t be happier with the professionalism of the staff, the beautiful and welcoming environment, and the flexible scheduling, which makes lessons easy to fit into our routine. We are so grateful to have found Akron Music Institute and hope to be students of music here for many years to come.
