I have been taking lessons with Steve Spires for a little over 2 years. I’m 50 years old and have “played around” with a guitar for many years, but never really knew what I was doing. Simply put, Steve has taken the “mystery” out of the instrument. In the past, just picking up my guitar was intimidating, now I can’t wait to get home to practice even if only for 5 or 10 minutes (which turns into 30 or 40). Steve’s teaching methods are unlike any I have seen in the past. Each lesson is fun and I learn something new and interesting each and every time. My appreciation for music has gotten stronger and deeper since I met Steve. Best of all, I have made a really good friend. Steve is very smart and extremely kind.
