★ 5 · Jake NevittEnvironment is clean and comfortable (the couch is very nice, gentle lighting, enough space to move around). They have multiple spacious rooms stocked with tons of premium gear: preamps, mics, amps, cabinets, instruments, tape machines... all primed for use. They're always down to use absolutely anything you want or are even curious about. Dave is extremely affable, kind and helpful. When it comes to recording and mixing, he is an absolute powerhouse. Super professional work, diligent, keen ears, and amazing results. I've worked at other studios with other recording and mixing engineers and Dead Bird is by far my favorite. I can say with certainty that I'll give Dave all of my business going forward.

★ 5 · StoneOhStoneDave is a good-hearted, compassionate, one-of-a-kind human being. In addition to that, he knows his rooms and speakers, and how they should sound when trying to capture your music. He has extensive knowledge regarding engineering, production, and musicality, that is helpful no matter what genre or style of music is the focus. I've had multiple bands recorded and mixed at Deadbird and all of us were very satisfied with the results. Whether you're recording drums, vocals, or even a full band live in the room, you can trust Deadbird to make it sound amazing at every step of the process.

★ 5 · Chris Palmore5 Stars - Exceptional Experience! Recording my audiobook, The Stoic’s Guide to Joy: 30 Days to Love Your Life, at DeadBird Recording Studios was an incredible experience! While this wasn’t my first time in a studio, it was my first time recording an audiobook, and Dave Chale, the owner and sound engineer, made the process seamless. The studio is impressive in size, but the sound booth felt just right—intimate and focused. Dave was attentive throughout the session, ensuring everything was just perfect. His keen ear helped me navigate tricky pronunciations, and we shared a good laugh when I channeled *Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure* for Socrates—thankfully, he was there to set me straight! The entire studio is clean, welcoming, and you can feel the decade of passion and dedication Dave
