This was the best experience. Luke is fun and can teach beginners well. It was worth the expense and I got to play to real music not just drills. I recommend this to anyone who wishes they could play the drums. Thank you Luke.

Luke was really fun and nice to learn from and he helped my mom and I figure out how to do a joint lesson for some nice mom daughter bonding time. It was a bit hard to find the location however it was totally worth the experience. If your interested in learning drums I would go here.

I took my first drum lessons with Luke after years of casually playing along to music I grew up with. One lesson is all it took to realize a couple of things. First, Luke is an amazing teacher. There are two drum kits set up in his studio where he can listen to what his student is playing, and then do some coaching and demonstrate if necessary. He is patient, is able to diagnose very easily what needs to be taught or corrected, and is very knowledgeable and positive in how he supports student growth. Second, learning proper technique and foundational skills is so important to really enjoying what you are passionate about. Being “self taught” or trying to learn from YouTube videos is cool, but Luke is a very technically capable drummer and his ability to break down technique is off th
