We shot our music video @ Desert Island - such a great space! Joe was onsite and super helpful. They have a great variety of gear for free use + rental and the lighting board was straightforward + easy to use. The dressing room set up was super pro. We had a great shoot - highly recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of filming a music video at Desert Island. I cannot overstate how great the experience was. From the very beginning, communication was fast and clear. The studio manager was accommodating and a pleasure to work with. The space itself was awesome! We were left wanting for nothing. The dressing room area in particular was a treat. And finally, the bill was more than reasonable. It’s so gratifying knowing a space like this exists in our community, where even small scale creative productions can be fully realized at a professional level. I also heard they do some solid work with the youth in our community. Desert Island exemplifies one of the many reasons why Portland is still awesome.

I've rented the studio multiple times. It's amazing having a fully outfitted space without paying for rentals or corkage. What I want out of a studio is space, resources, ample power, and friendly hosts - Desert Island Studios is all of this and more. I can't recommend it enough.
