Love this store. We visit with Michael whenever we're in the area. We're both musicians and he's very knowledgeable. We purchased his Christmas CD which was excellent. We've really enjoyed it. We highly recommend him to anyone. He's very personable and has lots of stories from his on-the-road history with the band.

If I could leave negative stars, I would most definitely do so. I just spent 4 hours total driving to and from this store for mine and my wife's guitars. I dropped them off Friday December 30th and was told they'd be ready to pick up Monday January 2nd. I walked in and was told he said he would CALL me Monday, if he had I wouldn't have drove an hour to his shop. So I left and when I returned home I noticed a missed call and a voice-mail saying they were ready. I drove all the way back, grabbed my guitars and went home. My mistake. Had I looked before I left I would've noticed this s**t show he did on my wife's guitar. I get being in a rush, but when someone pays you money to do a job, I expect it to be done properly. Absolutely never going back to this location and I suggest that if you wa

Michael's Music is one of my favorite places in the world. As a person who goes to Cannon Beach every year, I've been here a lot and never bought a guitar. Mike is an incredible person, a great salesman, and a great disciple of Christ. His prices and selection are great (his Amati and Teton stuff is top-notch, especially for his prices, don't be fooled by Amati's self posted dealer prices) he gave me a deal out of pure love and sympathy that was selling it at a loss. Please go support this store and, if you need a pick-me-up on anxiety or songwriting, he will help you make things better with his powerful faith.
