We have really enjoyed Songbird studios for our daughter’s voice lessons so far. Kurtis is a fun and patient teacher. It’s obvious he enjoys working with his students and has a lot of knowledge to share. We would recommend this studio to our friends or others looking for voice or music lessons.

I have two boys taking lessons with Songbird Music Studio this year through the Hamilton homeschool partnership, and they have loved it. My younger son actually enjoys practicing now and looks forward to his lesson each week. He loves that he is learning songs he wants to play, and he often wants to show me how much he has grown since starting a few months ago. He has gotten so much more confident in his skills, too. My older son said “it’s really fun learning to play piano better. When I started, I could barely play Twinkle Twinkle and now I know how to play two worship songs! I’m way better at hearing the melodies and finding the notes in other songs too. If other kids aren’t sure about taking lessons, I hope they try it.”

Took a chance on Songbird Music Studio based on reviews, as I have no musical background or contacts in music education. So very glad I did. I needed a vocal coach to help strengthen my voice for audiobook narration, and Kurtis created a custom program for me that went WAY beyond just vocal best practices. As an unexpected bonus, he’s somehow managed to teach me to actually sing! Can’t recommend Kurtis highly enough.
