★ 5 · SinanMy absolute favourite place to record in Windsor/Essex for more than one reason! First reason is the vibe. Vibe is very important for a musician because it translates into performance. I've heard too many records where the artist has no enthusiasm because their mind was somewhere else while recording. Between the coloured lights, neon sign, and other decor ... your mind will be on the performance and nothing else. Another reason I feel comfortable is the location, upper middle class suburb. A studio in the sketchy part of town will never get a good performance from me because I'll spend every 5 minutes worrying if my car is being broken into, regardless of how fancy its gear is. Location matters! And it's not like Diesel Dungeon's gear is shabby either. You will find Neve preamps, API,
