Siliana taught my daughters to love piano. They were her students for over 6 years and developed a solid foundation of music theory and performance. She sets expectations for her students so that they are motivated to stay on track. Even as the lessons became more difficult, my girls did not want to give up. When in person lessons were not an option, Siliana seamlessly transferred to online instruction. The girls continued with their regular lessons and were even ready for their Certificate of Merit exams without interruption. Siliana is an amazing teacher! Siliana's love of classical music, piano, and performance have inspired and encouraged my daughter in such a way that she now possesses an incredible drive to practice and set her own goals. My daughter has developed a genuine friendship with and love for Siliana which makes the learning all the more enjoyable. I love to sit in her lessons because it gives me so much joy to watch them work on a piece together, and quite often I learn something about the theory of the piece too. Siliana provides an incredible amount of challenge, but then gracefully guides and coaches my daughter so that she can confidently grow and succeed. Siliana is a very talented pianist and piano teacher. She closely observes student’s performance and always apply the best method for the student. She chooses lesson material for each student from her extensive collection. Her individually crafted lesson helps each student make faster progress and achieve his/her goals. Her lesson is always friendly. She teaches all students regardless age or level. It is fun to learn piano from her. One of the best parts of being her student is to see her demonstration. Because of her exceptional skill and experience, her sound is amazingly expressive and artistic. If you have a chance to listen to her demonstration or performance, you will immediately notice how much she loves piano. Loving piano is one of the most important steps for piano students.
