Zen is a very skilled and diverse drummer, who is well versed in his in his craft. I’ve enjoyed listening to his music for many years now and am constantly impressed with his general ability as well as his work ethic. He is great at explaining things too, so he is a wonderful teacher as well as an amazing player, which is a rare combination. Zen is a great drummer, and a pleasure to work with in the studio. I teach a recording workshop and bring him in every year when demonstrating drum recording.
