Have been taking lessons and recording with Ryan for over a year. He is a fantastic teacher of all the instruments in his ever-growing studio and of vocals, he really helps with the understanding of vocal and instrument techniques that really help you take your music to the next level. For the recording aspect of the studio, me and my band only had 4 hours of total recording time for a full EP, and we were able to go in actually finish most of the whole EP without going over on our 4 hours, so in conclusion, Ryan is an extremely efficient and skillful sound engineer, and no matter what type of music you want to grow in, learn, or record, this is the perfect place for you.

When my son wanted to take his guitar playing up a rung or two a few years ago, I strongly encouraged him to study with Ryan and Perennial. Having played music with Ryan years ago, I know him to be a knowledgeable and passionate musical craftsman as well as a supportive and caring friend. My son's musical knowledge and abilities on multiple instruments leapt forward under Ryan's mentorship, as did his interest and understanding of the recording process. I went to Perennial Sound Studio weekly for about 18 months to get help with refining my production methodology and backfilling some things relating to music theory. Ryan is pretty awesome and his space is very functional. He has some nice toys and the studio offers really creative vibe!
