Being part of the Suzuki community has been a truly rewarding journey for our family. The daily practice has helped create a strong mother-daughter bond, giving us focused, meaningful time together beyond play or family routine. I've seen amazing growth in her memory—she can now learn long pieces with ease, something I struggled with as a child learning music using traditional methods. Knowing there's a clear, proven path has kept us motivated, and my daughter feels excited to reach each new step. Most of all, she genuinely enjoys playing and is thriving in a warm, supportive community full of encouragement and joy.

This past Summer I was looking for a private violin teacher for my daughter and am very pleased to have found Nissa. Her instruction is not only about technique, but also explains the how and why of it. She makes sure my daughter understands the lessons they work on together and always asks her if she understands, or has questions. They discuss lesson plans together, as Nissa is very cognizant of what my daughter is capable of accomplishing and what she needs to work on further. While a lesson plan is always a main focus, Nissa has helped my daughter prepare for school assigned pieces as well. My daughter looks forward to her lessons. Overall, Nissa is very organized, her studio teaching is well guided, focused, and at a pace that is suited for the student.

Ms. Nissa is a wonderful teacher. Our daughter took lessons from Ms. Nissa for over a year. Ms. Nissa is always professional, arrives on time, responds promptly to texts, and has been very flexible scheduling around our schedule. Ms. Nissa communicates with clarity and makes learning the violin fun! Our daughter was always sad when her 30 minute lesson ended, so we increased the lesson time to 45 minutes. I highly recommend Ms. Nissa!
