I love Jake Stillman. He is more than a producer, he is a mentor who can coax great performances out of whoever he is working with. He knows tons about engineering and also has played in bands for years and has a superb ear. I enjoy working with him immensely and I'm always proud of the end product.

Coming from NYC, the hub of the recording industry, I can honestly say that finding Jake Stillman (at Stillman Sound in Petaluma) was like finding a hidden gem. He is a jack of all trades and a master of many. From tracking to mixing, from mastering to music business knowledge, he is truly at the top of his game! At one point, I've worked at just about ever major recording studio in NY and LA, as well as with several top mastering engineers, and Jake is easily as good as all of them! His Mastering is TOP NOTCH! I don’t think it gets better in the Bay Area.
