What a gift! My children purchased a recording session at Starbell Hatchery as a Christmas gift. I was a bit intimidated by the gift, initially. My session was so much fun. John's attention to detail and professionalism helped me create a beautiful memory of songs for my children and grandchildren. Thank you John! Update: 2024 Just finished my second recording session with John in the studio and had a chance to tour their soon to be launched artist retreat air B&B, so exciting!

From the gorgeous grounds to the house you stay in, through any recording work with John and his professional knowledge and depth the entire journey of your artistic craft will be cared for. They shepherded and hosted me through recording my first album. I am deeply grateful for the experience of staying at Starbell Hatchery for days together. My name is Diego Escusol. I ́m a Spanish songwriter that has been living in Illinois for a while. I was in need of recording a CD with Spanish songs for kids that I wrote for a project that began to be developed in the USA, called “Vientos del Aula”.
