He has been very supportive of him when he performs outside of the studio. Matt teaches all genres of music and emphasizes good technique. His easygoing personality and passion for teaching music has truly been a gift for our son.

★ 5 · Alex GrantI'm a mostly self taught guitarist with a lot of play time behind me, but have had some frustrating issues with technique, pain in my hands and forearms, and only a basic understanding of music theory. I saw that Matt and I share many musical interests (folk music, death metal, black metal, etc.) and scheduled lessons with him. In the three months I've taken lessons from him, I've progressed TREMENDOUSLY as a musician. I've learned to really zero in on problematic aspects of my technique, to consciously relax while playing, and have been progressing through topics in music theory - all while learning songs by my favorite bands. Matt tailors his lesson plans to the student and will meet his students wherever they are in their musical development and to their taste. Highly, highly recommen
