I retired a year ago, and one of my goals now that I have time, was to learn how to play a musical instrument. I have zero musical ability and have no prior experience as well. I chose the ukulele as my instrument and signed up for lessons at the San Marcos Leading Note. Susan S. was my instructor and all I can say is, she is a miracle worker! I went from not even knowing how to hold it, to actually being able to play songs! Susan is an excellent instructor with a good instinct on how to explain musical techniques to improve your playing skills. I highly recommend Leading Note Studio and an even higher recommendation for Susan! Thank You!

My kids have taken piano, guitar and musical theater and we love all of them! Each of their instructors is great, both in proficiency and in their attitude! Because of Leading Note, our family is loving playing music together, and as a pastor, I’ve even had the opportunity to play music with my kids in church!
