The first time I picked up one of these when I met Stumpy Joe at a friends house, I had never played a string instrument in my life. Shoulda got a video, but I actually played a song on the first go! I am now a proud owner of TWO Stumpy Bass guitars. Had the original color first. Then I think I surprised my hubs with how fun it is to hear me jam, so he surprised me with a purple one!! I highly recommend this for beginners, or pros!!! ✌🏻👍🏻

I own a one of a kind five pound bass that looks like a blue 57 fender telecaster that is super road worn from years of playing!!! Love this thing! And when I’m not playing it, I hang it on the wall in my studio and it becomes an art piece....Love it! And Stumpy is a blast to jam with!

I heard and played the Five Pound Bass at NAMM 2019 in Nashville. Nice sound and cool esthetic in a compact package at a popular price.
