My son recently started taking beginner electric guitar lessons with Travis and he’s absolutely loving it. Travis is super knowledgeable, encouraging, and patient. We also had an impromptu lesson with Austin, who was amazing. I’m very impressed with The Sound Room AVL and their mission, and my son is so excited for this journey!

I’ve been taking guitar lessons with Travis at The Sound Room AVL since July 2025, and I couldn’t be happier. I’d been trying to learn on my own for a while as a beginner, but I’ve made so much more progress with Travis than I ever did self-learning. He’s a fantastic teacher—knowledgeable, patient, and able to explain things in a way that really clicks. Each time we meet, I leave feeling more confident and better at guitar. Travis has a great balance of pushing me to improve while keeping lessons fun and encouraging. Highly recommend him to anyone wanting to learn or level up their playing!
