★ 5 · Jodi McLarenI had a wonderful experience at Evolutionary Music Studio. The calm quiet setting in the woods put my mind at ease while I recorded guitar and vocals. Nick is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, efficient, encouraging, and musically and technically skilled. He listens to what is desired, and can offer guidance, inspiration, and direction when needed. We were able to get a great recording and first mix in our first 4 hour session together, and the bass part he added brought so much depth to the song. I loved how clear and lovely the guitar and vocals sounded even as we were recording -- he captured a really natural sound right through the mic, and clearly has an ear for mic placement (and uses great mics).
