I highly recommend Joy as a music teacher for you or your children. Joy’s love for the art is evident in her enthusiastic and energetic teaching techniques. She is exceedingly patient with all students, encourages them, and coaxes the very best effort from each and everyone. Our son, Dylan, has taken music lessons from Joy for many years. He has studied guitar and voice with her, and Joy has addressed performance techniques as well that have been particularly helpful. Dylan is always impressed with her knowledge of music theory! We are tremendously grateful to her for everything she has taught our son and the joy his music has brought to our family.

Joy is an amazing teacher. She was so patient and kind when I was taking lessons as a beginner. She is great at pushing you to be your best too. She is great at customizing her teaching method's to best fit the students needs. She does this by taking time to learn and listen to her students. Joy is a teacher and I hope to eventually take lessons from her again.
