★ 5 · Joel ZighelAll around outstanding studio experience!!! I made a full-length album at Mighty Toad on the 2-inch tape machine and it came out beyond all my expectations. We did live sessions with drums, bass, keys, full horn section and backing vox. Craig's got all the gear you need to make a real record, and he knows how to use it. Plus, he will go the extra mile to make sure you get the sound and vision you are dreaming of. I would recommend Mighty Toad to anyone who wants to make the best recording ever!!!

★ 5 · Akie Bermissas far as I'm concerned, this is one of the finest places to make a record in the city. the owner/proprietor/engineer, Craig, is super helpful, very musical, and incredibly attuned to music on a couple of different levels. i've worked here as a side-man, and as a producer -- both times, I new -- through out -- that I'd made the right choice. the studio is a bit off the beaten path (but not so far that you can't get excellent food or coffee -- but far enough that you can basically always find parking) but has all the amenities that other -- more deliberately placed -- studio tout. there are a couple of excellent pianos (a lovely grand, and a pretty mighty upright), some vintage pianos, an organ AND leslie. a very solid drumkit (both times I have recorded there, the drummer has used Cra
