Mr Riley is awesome!! Just after 3 lessons (meets every Saturday) my 6 year old learned how to play the melody of Twinkle little star. It's crazy to think that at such young age she is able to do it. All thanks to Emma Bartlett studio and our teacher Mr Riley. I watch him handle a group of young kids with such ease and enthusiasm (honestly I couldn't do it with one kid, let alone 4!). He is so musically talented and knows exactly how to get the kids to pay attention and makes connection with them. Very engaging lessons that include singing, playing the piano, sometimes drums, writing/coloring, and fun activities! Wonderful to watch!

Emma is a great teacher. She is professional, knowledgeable, caring, and patient. Last year when my son started to lose interest in the piano, and I was seriously thinking about quitting his lesson, I began to send him to her. Since then, he has improved considerably and got motivated to practice every day and learn more. I was impressed by her detailed instructions and training in theory and sight reading. She also gives her students opportunities to develop their passion and confidence in music by performing in front of an audience at various events. I’m glad to have her as my son’s music teacher.

Emma has been a wonderful teacher for our daughter, who started lessons more than three years ago. We have been impressed by Emma's musical expertise as well as her patience and ease of connecting with our daughter during lessons. Her instruction is well-rounded, focusing on practical musicianship as well as music theory in a kind and approachable way. We believe that enjoying playing is the best outcome of music lessons, and our daughter truly enjoys making music, thanks in large part to the way Emma teaches!
