Had a great studio there for almost 6.5 years with Pearl: He's "good people" and the place is secure, well-maintained and whisper quiet due to the soundproofing that only an older building can provide for you. It's not a dump: They keep it clean, and they they keep it accessible. Easy access; many layers of locks and security; and, most importantly, Pearl's a Righteous Dude. It was enough space to create; had a loft; and, it had a room to close off and practice for vocals and instruments. When I come back to Jersey- if I need another studio- I'm hitting him up first!

I rarely leave bad reviews but I feel it’s a duty to warn people about this spot. IF you luck out and get a room with decent gear, you might be able to have a good time. My tips: make sure you bring EVERYTHING you need and make sure you have exact change in cash on you when you arrive, there are no ATMs nearby. Drum gear is a total dice roll.. I’ve found snare drums broken (snares on bottom completely detached and unable to tighten) and cymbal stands that don’t tighten—they swing and collapse randomly. Some amps didn’t turn on… luckily there are usually a few to pick from. The woman that works there will demand cash before you play.. you better have exact change because once you pay you will never see her again.. even if she owes you money. The place is a maze… if you need anything.. it

If there are spots available this is the place to be you'll end up running into someone you know there and that's where the magic happens. Whether looking for your own studio space or having a place to Jam out with your band to me it's perfect
