Shelter Island Sound Studios

In October 1988 the studio opened on Shelter Island, two hours east of NYC. Producer/engineer Steve Addabbo purchased all of the equipment from a well respected east side studio that was closing and set up the studio in the basement of his home. Shelter Island is equipped with a legendary collection of meticulously maintained vintage gear, from the custom molded 1979 MCI/NEVE/API analog console, to the vintage outboard, to the amazing mic cabinet, to our PRO TOOLS ULTIMATE 32 in/out system with

Great studio to record in. So much experience and geniuses to learn from. I record in one of the studios of shelter Island with Rich Ahee. He's a phenomenal engineer/ producer. So imagine the knowledge that can be gained. I've been soaking every bit of it up.
