My son has been taking guitar lessons from Steve for about a year and my daughter took piano lessons over the summer. We can’t say enough positive things about this guy! My kids come out of their lessons with a smile. Steve always has encouraging words for his students. You can tell how passionate he is for teaching when you see him at a recital. He plays along with the students to give the younger kids a more enriched sound. At our most recent summer recital he would smile and clap and tell each student ‘Good Job’ after their performance. Steve is a great musician, a great teacher and all around good guy! He is a very patient and friendly teacher that helped me pursue my goals and further define new ones as an adult musician. Steve was willing to work with me to construct a one-off instruction program with a blend of guitar, piano, jazz, classical, and country/western. He is a very well rounded musician and is clearly excited and passionate about teaching. Well worth the cost of lessons for anyone looking to study music through private instruction.

My 11 year old daughter has been taking guitar lessons with Steve for about 6 months now. Steve is a great teacher, very professional and he knows his music and instruments inside and out. He has a great sense of humor and makes the lessons so enjoyable and fun for her. I would highly recommend Steve in all aspects of music, from beginner lessons to freshening up old skills you've lost, he is just a great teacher with a true passion for sharing music.
