We have been going to the Albany Rock Pit since it opened. My children absolutely love the performance program and the opportunity to play live concerts at local venues. The community atmosphere they cultivate is amazing, and it has brought out a deeper passion for music in our whole family. Connecting aspiring young musicians together is such a powerful thing — and that, coupled with the passion and genuine excitement that all of their instructors and staff bring make for a truly exceptional experience. Show days are our favorite days, and it’s been wonderful to see all of the support these talented kids have gotten from the community. I personally have loved the adult program as well.

5 stars. 10 out of 10. We are so grateful for this music school. Both of our kids have been taking lessons and performing with Albany Rock Pit since opening its doors less than two years ago. The owners Tess and Kim along with the entire staff have created an incredible music community for these kids to grow. Both musically and personally. They have successfully built a platform for young aspiring musicians to express themselves through music and live performances. If you have a child who shows interest in music, singing, learning an instrument, or performing. Check out Albany Rock Pit, you’ll be glad you did. Keep rocking and rolling.

I highly recommend this music school! It's a fantastic environment where all the kids are treated with respect and encouraged to be themselves. The school's approach to fostering both musical skills and stage presence is remarkable. Students have amazing opportunities to perform, from in-school concerts to local events, giving them real-world experience. The instructors truly invest in each student, helping them grow into confident and talented musicians. Overall, it’s a wonderful place for young musicians to learn, thrive, and express themselves.
