I always wanted to learn how to play the drums and I am so glad I decided to take lessons at Beyond the Beat! Staff there are very welcoming and the instructors I had (my main instructor as well as those that taught me when he was sick/away) were really talented, patient, and knowledgable. I was able to learn various drumming styles and I loved being able to learn different beats to songs I enjoyed listening to (The Beatles, Post Malone, Our Lady Peace, Paramore, etc.). I know that when my kids start to express interest in learning an instrument, I will definitely be bringing them to Beyond the Beat!

My son takes drum classes with Kyle at Beyond the Beat and he just finished a week of their summer recording camp. Both programs are amazing. He loves his weekly lessons and we were blown away by the songs he and his camp mates recorded at camp.

Love this place! My 11-year old takes voice lessons here, along with several of his friends who play drums, guitar. I saw a ukelele player one day too. Studio is relaxed and welcoming. Teachers are talented, encouraging and supportive. Highly recommend taking your child in or dropping into one of their regular showcase days where they all can choose (or not) to get on stage and jam. You'll hear some amazing music. Whole business is set up to inspire a love of (playing, learning, listening to) music.
