Peter Hyland: I am a self-taught guitarist that learned “cowboy” chords or the basic major and minor chords on my guitar. I was able to play some popular songs at a slow speed. Two and a half years ago, I began taking lessons from Jeff Wiggins at The Way of Guitar Studio in Auburn. Jeff is teaching me how to play the guitar “properly.” He combines theory, playing skills and techniques, and practice drills to teach all his students to develop as players at their own pace. Sessions with Jeff are fun, challenging, and informative. At the end of each session, I had fun, learned something new, and improved as a guitar player. I recently started guitar lessons over the summer. The lessons are great, I have a ton of fun! Jeff is extremely knowledgeable and a great teacher. He brings in fun ways to learn the guitar and is a very personable teacher! He is also very reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend to anyone that has been thinking of taking lessons - go do it!
