★ 5 · Chris ConnerI had the pleasure of meeting Brad Sears and his team at Consumer Music during a special Open Mic event that included a recipient of A Wish of a Lifetime where the nice lady learned to play guitar and performed in front of a live audience. The music and setting at this location in Vallejo are fantastic. Don't look, just go..! You won't be disappointed.

★ 5 · J.C. RatliffVery friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. My daughter is just starting out learning the guitar. I bought her a beginner guitar online but wanted some better quality strings and from a nearby retailer and a quick search lead me to consumer music. Not only do they have a variety of instruments, replacement parts and accessories but, they also rent out studio time and even offer an open mic night once a month. I recommend this place to anyone who has instruments, an interest in musical instruments and is a music lover.

★ 5 · CJ BogieHaving been a customer on and off for around 10 years I keep coming back because this is the kind of music store I grew up going to. Throw up a Hendrix poster and a Janis Joplin one to it would be identical. That aside it's the people. Brad the owner is a great guy and if he doesn't have what you need he knows where to get it fast. The tech Rob I would easily let fix anything on my guitars . He's got 2 now and by just talking with him I know I got the right guy. All in all I'm not straying again just because it might be cheaper somewhere else. Cheap vs Knowledge, Knowledge always wins. Give them a try!
