I had my first experiences recording songs with the Headroom gang (mostly Kyle, Shane, and a bit with Mark) in late 2020 and have had a number of recording sessions there since. From initial planning, to creative feedback, through the recording and mixing process itself, this team are PROS and I've enjoyed working with each person there. They are transparent and fair with pricing, very skilled in music engineering and production, and just plain fun to work with. The space itself has a laid back, vintage vibe with a plethora of equipment (lots of toys for you guitarists, great-sounding amps plus an array of effects, electric and acoustic pianos and more). I've been recording at Headroom for the past year and it's been a wonderful experience. It's a really inspiring place; in a word, it's got a great vibe about it. It also has all the gear I could ever want to play with in terms of guitars, amps, keys, percussion, etc., so I can get in there and just let the creativity flow. I've been working mainly with Kyle, who's a great guy and a consummate pro. Nice, patient, fun and easy to work with, and knows his stuff. His input really helps me along, especially in terms of getting the best vocal takes. I trust my project is in good hands at Headroom. All in all, I highly recommend!

Not only is the space incredibly comfortable and creative, but working with Kyle as our producer was one of the best decisions we’ve made as a band. He struck the perfect balance between keeping the listener engaged and staying true to our creative vision. On top of that, Mark was fantastic to work with—his mixes were top-notch, and his clear, consistent communication made a huge difference once we left the studio.
