10 stars! We did 2 full days of recording with Sam and had a fantastic experience. Great gear and recording options, a perfect mix of relaxed but efficient and professional atmosphere, and just overall a really fun and creative time! Sam also collaborated seamlessly with our producer, building ideas together to capture the band's vision. The songs sound great and we can't wait to return!

I had a great time recording music here with Sam and the rest of the guys! The two songs we did together turned out a lot better than I had expected going into it. Very relaxing and friendly atmosphere, while also professional. These guys know what they're doing! Highly recommend!

An absolute blast to work with! My band recorded our first EP with Sam here and it was an overwhelmingly positive experience. Between the respect shown for our vision, creative input, dedication, and an eclectic selection of vintage gear to work with, I'm left with no complaints and recordings that I am genuinely proud of to boot! I would highly recommend Mysterious Red X to anyone who is looking to record and have a good time doing it! I will definitely be returning and am genuinely excited to continue to work with the folks here!
