This is a studio for artists who want that personal touch. It's a relaxed intimate environment for artists to find their creative state of mind without breaking the bank. John is the owner-operator-engineer-gear geek... He has some rare and amazing analog equipment right out of the 60s but has figured out a way to connect them with the digital age, compensating along with way for the drawbacks of analog in pretty awesome ways. I'm kind of addicted to this place, currently working on a 6 song acoustic project but excited to keep working this room to see what we can find with more musicians and my tube amps.

As a podcast host, my audience has been asking for an audiobook version of my book, 3 Word Rebellion, FOREVER. And I knew two things that there was no way I could record this book at home (3 cats meowing in the background is not idea) and I didn't want to edit the dang thing. John at Quiet Please Recording made recording my audiobook easy and fun! The studio is comfortable and not intimidating if this is your first time recording a book. It felt like a true collaboration. I got to be the talent and he made sure that I sounded amazing. The audiobook would never gotten done without John. I'd recommend him to any author who wants to get their audiobook done but the recording and editing is holding you back.

My first audiobook (Where's MY Book? A Guide for Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming Youth, Their Parents, & Everyone Else) was released today on Amazon.com. I have enormous gratitude for the work of John Metzler, owner of Quiet Please Recording. As a brand new "voice talent," I was intimidated by the process at first.
