★ 5 · John MassoniMy band Nonmodern recorded much of its album here, and mixed it here. I found it a comfortable atmosphere which allowed me to relax and focus on performing. Used some of their instruments on hand, too. Dan is easy to work with and we had a lot of fun. I can only think this place will get better and better as it just opened up. Look forward to doing more projects at English Boom!

★ 5 · J AndersonRecently recorded at English Boom Studio on Camano Island. Dan and his engineering team are an experienced group that can dial it in. Found them to be excellent communicators and stoked to work on our project. The setup is cozy and yet can still handle a large band, no prob. Awesome outboard gear. Basically, it felt inspiring to be there!

★ 5 · Ethan MoodyDrummer here. A few weeks ago, I played at English Boom Studio for the first time with some fellow musicians from church. Dan was absolutely awesome! He made us feel completely at home and completely comfortable from the start to finish of our time there. He also gave me the flexibility to supplement his studio drumset with some additional cymbals I brought in (which paired well with his in-house equipment – i.e., other drum pieces, mics, etc.). We were able to efficiently work through a single song recording in a day with Dan's help and attention to detail. By the end of our time there, we had recorded multiple parts and instruments, worked through some helpful changes and additions to the arrangement, and felt great with the way the song was coming together. Dan remained focused, engaged
