In a word: AMAZING! And here is why: My niece has been taking guitar lessons from August for a couple of months and I have been privileged to sit in on her lessons and watch the experience. Firstly, the Virtual Lesson option is amazing! Not only because we live in a different state, but also because nerves and anxiety are a real thing, and the Virtual option made my niece comfortable enough to be willing to try lessons. But what has made the experience truly worth it, has been watching her confidence grow because of August's encouragement. I have very much enjoyed taking guitar lessons from August over the last couple of months. His style of teaching is tailored to me individually, which is a good fit for me and my goals. I have tried to learn to play guitar in the past from group classes and/or books, but that didn’t work as well for me. His approach is responsive, adaptive, and individual.
