Julio has been a phenomenal music teacher for my two children. He teaches them the fundamentals of music aside from their chosen instruments, which he clearly goes above and beyond our expectations. You can tell he is passionate about teaching the kids. I’m also impressed with how he keeps our kids engaged during music lessons. And as a parent, we know how much of a challenge that could be. We are so pleased with having our kids here at Puyallup School of Music!

Julio is an exceptional teacher and person. My son has been taking music lessons from him for about 9 months and in that short time has already learned so much. Julio is kind, patient, and a gifted educator. We feel so fortunate to have found Julio and The Puyallup school of Music.

Julio was my teacher for 2 years in a Latin ensemble sessions then in private vocal and musical theory & coaching sessions, learning from him is a gift. Julio is an outstanding performing, writing musician, experienced and knowledgable, musical manager and arranger, exceptional piano soloist, master of time, with all that he is always patient, no matter what is your skill level, age, if you practiced or not, or if he had a long day, he is always attentive, kind, understands where you’re at and moves you to the direction you want from there. I was very shy when I started singing, Julio's knowledge, experience, patience and smile created a positive, fun musical experience for me and I'm forever grateful for that!
