Alyssa is an excellent singing teacher and caters each lesson to the individual singers range and their goals. Both my husband and I take lessons from her and she’s top notch. Alyssa is down to earth, allows space to be nervous and also challenges me. I continue to see how she builds on previous lessons each time I go. What might seem simple at first slowly evolves to be a nuanced lesson that helps me become a better singing. If you’re wondering whether you should do lessons with Alyssa: yes, absolutely yes.

Alyssa is a uniquely wonderful teacher. As an adult, I came in with little music knowledge and my experience limited to singing to myself in the car. I wanted to raise my vocal range and gain confidence singing publicly. My wife and I both wanted to learn to sing together as a hobby, but found other teachers weren’t willing to work with us together towards singing a duet. Alyssa was the only one flexible enough to put a plan for both of us to reach our goals. She knows how to explain techniques and how the voice works in a way that anyone can understand by speaking from her own experiences learning.
