Bonnie was my piano teacher when I was about 8-12. She's not just an excellent piano teacher, she's also a good person. I felt like Bonnie really "got" me. She knew what music I'd be excited to play, and she wasn't afraid to challenge me. She helped me become more organized and disciplined with my practicing. Bonnie also understands that music is supposed to be fun, and although I learned a lot from her, I mostly remember how much I enjoyed our lessons together.

Our daughter started piano with Bonnie Sorensen-Ernst a year ago. She's been having a wonderful time with Bonnie. She learned a lot from her. Bonnie is a great teacher, her patience and enthusiastic made our daughter want to come to the piano class. And she knows how to motivate young kids. I'll definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to explore piano.

For the last 13 years, our three children have flourished under Bonnie’s instruction and guidance. She challenges her students, is gentle with her critiques, and can work with all types of learners. Her instruction is differentiated to exactly fit each student. It includes music theory, scales, and compositions that incorporate skills which students are mastering.
