Helpful knowledgeable staff willing to going the distance for the sale. I ordered a Les Paul on the website for home delivery and corporate packed it terribly and it arrived with a busted headstock. My interaction with the website customer support had me regretting my purchase and I was thinking about just undoing the whole purchase. But my interactions with the tech on the phone at this store switched my feelings and convinced me to go through with an exchange instead of a return. It happened to be the first time the tech had to do this specific kind of transaction, which apparently worked a little differently, but he was able to quickly get his manager on the situation. I searched online and found that here were two subwoofers but in California. I drove here for three hours from Orange County. I'm a beginner in musical instruments, so I consulted with Mr. Pat Monson. He said that I don't need a subwoofer other than the music equipment I already have. Usually, if he just sell things to customers, he will get benefit the business in my own opinion. But he was a good person conscientiously, not usual person like I was thinking, so he stopped open my wallet for unnecessary consumption. The employees were also very kind. Pat was hands down the most aggressive worst customer service experience I've ever had. Very dishonest, poor communication, hostile and accusatory to the point of violence. It felt like I was being challenged to a fight by a belligerent drunk man more than i was being helped by a managerial representative of Guitar Center. I wish I had thought to record our interaction so I could help upper management easily release him from his position without liability issues. I've been going to dozens of different guitar centers across the country for decades as a lifelong musician and professional sound engineer.
