I finally got to take a tour of this place after wanting to for over 30 years! It was worth the wait! Saw Studio A where Bob Seger recorded Against The Wind, Bob Dylan Gotta Serve Somebody and stood in the control room where Ronnie Van Zant’s voice was taken from a live recording called Traveling Man and brother Johnny’s voice was added for a duet with his legendary brother in 1997! Let me first start off with the fact that I live almost a hundred miles away (and I'm not joking, it's 97.3 miles per Google from driveway to driveway) from this theater. My husband's best friend lives in Florence. They were like 'Hey, we've got tickets to see Rock of Ages, you and the offspring have GOT to go with us. You can totally spend the night here!.' (Paraphrasing) Well, we have a dog and I had to work late, so I wasn't able to attend on Friday night, but they did. My daughter and husband enjoyed it SO MUCH, that on Saturday, the hubs bought tickets for the two o'clock Sunday show. For four. So that I could come, and my daughter's best friend could see.
