Mike is a fabulous drummer. He loves music, and has a broad repertoire. My two kids both loved learning from him. My son was in the high school jazz band. Mike helped him learn the new drum beats and shared lots of background support, such as recommending particular drummers to listen to. My daughter is a person with special needs, but she wanted to learn drums like big brother. Mike individualized her drum lessons, catering to her interests and ability level. For both my kids, he made music fun and helped them to love the instrument. His kindness and enthusiasm, combined with his in-depth knowledge of drumming, made all the difference. I highly recommend Mike Dale.

Mike was recommended to us through a neighbor and i have nothing but great things to say about him! He is flexible with scheduling, has reasonably priced lessons, and you can tell he loves drums and teaching. My daughter has been taking lessons from him about 3 years now and doesn’t plan to stop because she enjoys the lessons so much. Mike is very professional but still makes learning and practicing fun. And the “recitals” are so entertaining! It’s been amazing to hear the other kids and adults Mike has taught and how much they have progressed each year.

My son started lessons with Mike a few months ago and I've been so pleased with him as a teacher. My son has made great progress and actually enjoys practicing daily (which seems unusual to me from my experiences with my kids and their piano practicing). Mike is great at encouraging the students, teaching them on their level, and explaining to them the whys behind the drills he is asking them to practice. My son really looks up to Mike and wants to be able to play as well as he does. I've observed many teachers over the years and Mike is definitely one of the best.
