I finished the Music Production with Ableton Live (MPAL) course earlier this year. Overall it was a great learning experience—the instructor was knowledgeable and friendly. Class times were somewhat flexible to work with students' schedules as much as possible. The curriculum struck a good balance between creative exploration and technical skill-building with more emphasis on technical side. The sessions were helpful to demonstrate concepts and methods with time to ask questions, and get personalized feedback. A big thing for me was simply learning the vocabulary of music/audio production. By the end, I felt more confident speaking the 'language', navigating the software, structuring tracks, and shaping sound with intention. If you are serious about taking your production and DJ skills to the next level, this is without a doubt the best place to be. My time here has helped me build confidence and connections that I would not have otherwise. I’ve seen significant improvements not only as an artist, but as a person in general. Being in this environment has allowed me to prove to myself that anything is possible if you’re willing to work for it. If you’re on the fence, take the leap. It’s worth it !!!!
