★ 5 · Harris LeckAs others have said, Dan is a great teacher. Not only does he get the music part right, but perhaps more importantly he is persistently positive when an older student like me feels little progress is being made. Learning to play an instrument for an older person can be very hard because we are used to learning fast. Music is not fast, so great patience is needed. Learning to play an instrument has unique issues when it comes to physical dexterity, memory plus learning to read music and timing. I am early in my journey but would have quit long ago were it not for the positive motivation Dan provides at every lesson.

★ 5 · Shauna BoydDan has such a unique way of teaching. He really knows how to get to the heart of a child's love for music and bring out the best in each of them. He doesn't just teach lessons, he makes everyone part of a band, which teaches teamwork and allows a feeling of great accomplishment when playing together as a group. Recommended!

★ 5 · Camden BoydThe music's great, the teachers are great, and it's just a whole bunch of good. clean fun! Dan Whitley has written the books his students play out of, including the instruments of piano, guitar, violin, drums, voice, and so much more. The bands are fun to be in, and the price is good. If you're looking for a teacher, this is the right place.
