★ 5 · Justin LaKaitlin is an amazing teacher. In addition to weekly in-person lessons, she provides remote lessons where needed and regular recitals for performance experience. One of the coolest aspects is that she gives regular masterclass-type group lessons to bring in adjacent curriculum (like improvisation and world music)! As an beginning adult learner with limited time outside of work, she was really flexible with adjusting our goals and repertoire to suite my circumstance. She is also excellent with giving constructive feedback in a way that is helpful for learning and understanding and not just rote exercises.

★ 5 · Meagan TaylorMy daughter, who has played the cello for 8 years, recently switched to Kaitlin for lessons—and we couldn’t be happier. Kaitlin has been incredibly inspiring: she’s kind, encouraging, and clearly passionate about both music and teaching. My daughter comes home excited to practice and more confident each week. Her tone has noticeably improved, and Kaitlin has helped her understand the practical steps she can take now to work toward a future career in music. We’re so grateful to have found Kaitlin!
