After winning the Mountain Fair songwriting contest, I was thrilled to be awarded studio time at Cool Brick Studios. Having no prior studio experience, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Dave made the entire process very comfortable. He created an environment that felt welcoming, fun, and relaxed which is perfect for someone new to recording. The studio itself is outstanding, equipped with top-of-the-line gear and offering a truly professional atmosphere. As a bonus, it’s beautifully decorated, which just adds to the creative experience. What really stood out, though, was the care Dave puts into his work. This place is incredible!! We had the pleasure of working with Dave and Lynn while recording at Cool Brick Studios last week. Their gear was beautiful as was the facility itself. Nestled in the heart of downtown Carbondale, the studio from the outside is a quaint and unassuming brick house with a beautiful yard and some fun neon signs in the windows. Once you step inside you see a house transformed into a state of the art music studio with multiple rooms for tracking. We had a great experience recording and filming our Live EP here and will absolutely be back if we find ourselves in the area again!
