Wow!! What a great experience recording my first original album! The musicians were incredible! Derrick Brasfield is a genius! He played bass, drums, and guitar on all the tracks. It was like he was reading my mind, creating the mood and style I wanted for each song. I'd sit next to Derrick, he would lisyen to the scratch track and say Patty, what are we doing on this one. Kevin Kathey was a consummate professional on drums. He brought years of performance experience to my music and I could not be more pleased! The Rocking Chair song featured fiddle player Hyram Posey who just won instrumentalist of the year at the Josie Awards!!! Also featured on that track was Greg Blayloc on Dobro. Nikki Nelson sang harmonies on 6 of the tracks! What a voice! She easily stacked vocals and hit those not
