My son took guitar lessons for 5 years with Adam (from age 9-13), and we’d still be going strong today if Adam hadn’t moved away! Adam made guitar fun, and taught my son lots of Red Hot Chili Peppers, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, etc. When my daughter started to show interest in learning an instrument, he taught her the ukulele. She is also a singer, and Adam kept it interesting and taught her how to play Taylor Swift songs so she could sing and play simultaneously. Both kiddos excelled with their instruments and continue playing today. Five stars! The whole family highly recommends Adam Hernandez! :)

I've been taking lessons from Adam for over two years now! As a rock musician, I knew I wanted to up my skill set, which I can confidently say has happened. I describe my progress as going from "garage-rock musician" to actually having a comprehensive understanding and being able to write professional songs and confidence to hang with pros in a jam setting. We've covered many major topics such as triads, 7th chords, major/minor scales/blues soloing, modes, etc. The lessons feel focused and on a linear path. I've taken other lessons before where the teacher chooses a random thing and bounces around. This truly feels like a course with a direction, which I feel is more efficient. I plan to continue my efforts with the Jamsville program indefinitely. I am so glad I can say two plus years la

Adam was my son’s first guitar teacher and helped instill his love of music at age 8. He still talks about his first days learning and plays songs from his early days of learning- Tom Petty Free Fallin. Adam is patient, kind, knowledgeable and provides a learning environment that sticks. Highly recommend him.
