Met with Mark to talk about doing a recording. His library of engineering work he showcased was two songs from a decade ago of his own rock band. I needed a studio drummer and he talked-up about a bunch of potential players he could have available for my choosing. He showed me some practice rooms that were a good size and looked like new builds, but had low quality acoustics. The pictures on the website of different studios are not what I saw. And the main track room was more of a large office room. I wasn't impressed, but he seemed like a good guy so I figured I'd test out the production facilities anyway and committed to recording one song. We ended up discussing a full plan to start a recording in mid-December and talked about some rates. However, when I contacted him in early Decembe
