Chris is a fantastic teacher and a talented musician! It was such a privilege to learn bass and guitar with him. If you're interested in learning music theory or want to refine your guitar/bass abilities, I highly recommend taking lessons with him. Also, Chris is a very understanding teacher - he truly values student input and aims to create lessons tailored for you. I had inquired into the possibility of having joint lessons with another student that would also be interested as I find that playing/learning in small groups has really helped in my musical journey, and he made it happen. Look no further for your Gorge music needs!

I feel so grateful to have had Chris as my first music teacher. From starting with guitar, then voice, and even experimenting with playing with another student learning bass, I felt extremely supported through it all even when I was SO nervous!!! I highly recommend Chris to anyone who wants to start taking their music studies seriously, he is an invaluable resource. My only complaint is that the 30 minute lessons went too soon :)

Music with Chris is the best. I was a classical pianist in my youth, then took 20 years off before I decided to get back into it. Chris helped me find that spark again, work toward a project, and expand my music skills and interests beyond the lines of classical music. I felt very comfortable pushing myself with Chris (even worked on singing!). Absolutely recommend him to anyone who wants to connect or reconnect with music.
